I saw this ad on the subway yesterday.  At first, it jumped out at me that even though the NY Times says I can read their stuff digitally “anytime, anywhere,” I actually can’t download it on the subway — you know, the “anytime, anywhere” known as “right when I took this picture.”

But then something else popped out.  At the top.  Next to “The Caucus.”

What’s “FiveThirtyFive?”

Ye gods.

(A tip to the New York Times:  I’m a lukewarm supporter of the paywall.  An hour before taking this picture, I spoke on a panel and stated unequivocally that your work and process produce a high quality product.  PLEASE DO NOT EMBARRASS ME BY NOT KNOWING THE NAME OF ONE OF YOUR BEST BLOGS.  Especially considering it is based on the number of Electoral College voters, and you’re claiming to an expertise in politics!)
